[From the Editor] The following is an extract from “Metaphysics Discussions” radio program which aired on 11th April 2014. A cultivator’s sister was diagnosed with leukemia and was going to undergo chemotherapy. However, after she learnt about the Guan Yin Citta Dharma Door, she offered 61 Little Houses within three weeks and as a result, she was told that she no longer needed chemotherapy. The follower really appreciated the Guan Yin Bodhisattva and made a vow that she would propagate the Guan Yin Citta Dharma Door to the public using her experience as an example to demonstrate the benefits of practising the Guan Yin Citta Dharma Door. Also, Master Lu told the caller that one will obtain the greatest merit and virtue by saving others and due to the follower’s vow, she probably recovered quicker than usual.
Caller: Master, I would like to share some good news with you. A cultivator’s sister from Malaysia was diagnosed with the initial stage of leukemia and was prescribed by her doctor to take traditional Chinese medicine. However her condition worsened when her skin and hands started to develop edema and erythema. She was then strongly advised by her doctor to undergo chemotherapy. Before she underwent chemotherapy, she became familiar with the Guan Yin Citta Dharma Door and offered 61 Little Houses in a period of three weeks. As a result, she was told that she no longer needed chemotherapy after going in for a health check. The Little Houses are so amazing!
Master Lu: See?
Caller: She had only been performing recitations for three weeks and was told by her doctor that she no longer needed chemotherapy. She also made a vow to the Guan Yin Bodhisattva that she would propagate the Guan Yin Citta Dharma Door to the public by using her own experience as an example of how great the Guan Yin Citta Dharma Door is. She plans to start propagating morenext year.
Master Lu: If she made such a Great Vow, she would have recovered quicker than usual. Let me tell you something, one will obtain the greatest merit and virtue by saving others.
