Guan Yin Citta’s three golden practices help my son achieve an almost impossible GCE ‘O’ level results in less than half a year!

My deepest gratitude to the Greatly Merciful and Greatly Compassionate Guan Yin Bodhisattva, to the Dharma Protectors, to our Merciful Master Lu, and to all fellow Buddhist practitioners.

My sharing is solely for the purpose of helping more people have faith in Buddhism, and if I say anything wrong, I seek Guanyin Bodhisattva, all Dharma Protectors and all my fellow practitioners for forgiveness.

Thank you for giving me this opportunity to share with you how Guan Yin Citta has greatly helped my son in getting the results we wanted for the O level by adopting the three golden practices of Guan Yin Citta.

My son was from a neighbourhood secondary school. During his Secondary 4 Mid-year, his L1R4 was 21 points, L1R5 was 27 points (Picture 1); during his Prelim Exam, his L1R4 was 18 points, L1R5 was 23 points (Picture 2) (I might have suffered from depression if I had not listened to Master Lu and learned to let go, and learned that all things on earth are temporary, and that whatever happens, there is no right nor wrong, all are the results of own karma).

About two months later, he took his GCE ‘O’ Level Exam, his grades improved tremendously! His L1R4 was 8 points Raw, L1R5 was 11 points Raw (Picture 3)! If we have not been granted with Guan Yin Bodhisattva’s Mercy and Compassion, with my dear son’s own effort and knowing his learning style and his attitude (lacks focus and gets distracted easily) getting 8 and 11 is impossible! Praise and thanks to Master Lu for bringing us such an excellent Dharma Door!

Let me share with you my Guan Yin Citta journey over this past year.
I have the good fortune to get to know Guan Yin Citta on the Internet at the end of 2014. Like most people out there, I was really fascinated by Master Lu’s Totem World but at the same time find it unbelievable!

Out of curiosity, I read both the e-books of “Fate, Fortune and Feng-shui” and “Heaven, Earth, and Humanity”. At that time, I can’t wait to attend Master Lu’s public talk. When I found out that Master Lu will be in Singapore in April 2015, I was really excited!

After I visited Guan Yin Citta Singapore’s temple at the beginning of 2015 and understood how I should do my daily recitations, I found that reciting scriptures was not easy and seemed impossible for me. After I went home, I started reciting the scriptures. A few days later, I found that it was not that tough after all! I increased the numbers of each mantras and sutras and added the Repentance Text to my daily recitation.

About a month after I started my recitation, I told my son he should recite scriptures too if he wished to do well for his year-end GCE ‘O’ level Exam! He did not say anything.

After about a week or two, my son came to me and asked, “Mummy, if I start reciting scriptures now, when I grow older and I wanted to take up another religion, then how?” As I do not want to break his affinity with Buddhism, I told him it should be fine as it is just reciting of scriptures. Since then, every night at 9 pm, my dear son starts his daily recitations. (All who know him well will know that my son’s Chinese really cannot make it. He has minor Dyslexia for Chinese. He cannot comprehend the Chinese Strokes and when he was in lower Primary, writing Chinese is like drawing picture. He uses Hanyu Pinyin when he recites the scriptures). I am very grateful to Guan Yin Bodhisattva, from that day onwards when my son is home at night, he recites scriptures. Initially it was 3 times of the Great Compassion Mantra, 3 times of the Heart Sutra and 21 times of the Chun Ti Shen Chou. After a while he increased to 7 times, 7 times, and 21 times, respectively!

I must give credits to my son as he is quite consistent and diligent in his daily recitations. At times, even when he came back tired from lessons or CCA, he will still recite his daily scriptures.

One day, I was sitting on our sofa, looking stressed. My son noticed and asked me what happen. I told him I heard that to achieve improvement in studies, one must recite at least 49 times of Chun Ti Shen Chou! I told him, my daily recitations, Little Houses for myself, for him and my husband have already taken up a lot of time, now I need to recite another 27 times of Chun Ti Shen Chou for him so I felt stressed!  I was surprised to hear him telling me that Chun Ti Shen Chou is a short sutra, he can recite 49 times himself, I need not recite for him! Praise and Thanks to Guan Yin Bodhisattva!

During his daily recitations, my son prays to Guan Yin Bodhisattva for helping him achieve 8 points or below for 5 subjects, and achieve below 12 points for 6 subjects for his year-end GCE O Level Exam!

During the O level exam period, when he was taking the exam at school, my husband and I stay at home reciting the Great Compassion Mantra to give him energy, the Heart Sutra to give him wisdom and Chun Ti Shen Chou to help him get the right answer. During his Languages Oral Exam, I included Mantra to Untie Karmic Knots between him and the examiner. For his Science Practical Exam, I included Mantra to Untie Karmic Knots as well as Jvala Mahaugra Dharani to avoid any mishap! I also pray to Guan Yin Bodhisattva for eliminating all examination obstacles for my son!

I must thank and give credits to my husband as he was the one who suggested to set up an altar at home (less than a month away from my son’s O level). At that time, my husband still had not started reciting any scriptures! We managed to set up the altar in less than six weeks (in between I was away to attend Master Lu’s talk in Malaysia for a few days). We imported the altar accessories from China; my hubby designed the altar, one friend’s brother custom-made our altar, looked for suitable floor tiles and tilers as we also changed our existing floor tiles, and lighting, etc.

Praise and thanks to Guan Yin Bodhisattva and all the helpful fellow Buddhist practitioners that have advised us and helped to get everything done smoothly and make it possible.

I have been performing life liberation for my son and family every month since March 2015.

I transferred the merits that I accumulated from the following events to my son, hoping he did well on the exam: being a volunteer on 6 June 2015 in Singapore during the Guan Yin Citta Sharing Session, being a volunteer at Master Lu’s talk in Kuala Lumpur in Dec 2015, as well as the work I have been doing on the Facebook page ‘Guan Yin Bodhisattva GUAN YIN CITTA’ from 16 May 2015 to 16 May 2016.

I vow that I will write my testimonial on blog to help people believe in Guan Yin Citta.

And I will also share my testimonial personally to all who are interested and especially my relatives and friends as I hope them to have a brighter future. I want everyone to enjoy better health and regain peace in this world! As Master Lu once said, Guan Yin Citta is about “making everyone healthy and happy, every family harmonious, our society cohesive and every country prosperous”.

I also encouraged my son that if he wants to get the results that he was praying for, it is best that he can make a vow that he will write up his testimonial to share with people too.

GCE ‘O’ level results were released on 11 Jan 2016. Praise and thanks to Guan Yin Bodhisattva and Master Lu! It is really amazing! The results were exactly what we had been praying for!! Nothing more, nothing less! L1R4 was 8 points Raw, L1R5 was 11 points Raw (after deducting his CCA 2 points, his L1R4 was 6 points net, L1R5 was 9 points net).

This means that he can get into all the diploma courses in all the Polytechnics in Singapore and he can enter 11 of the Junior Colleges! Without Guan Yin Citta, this is never going to be possible and we have never dreamt that this will actually happen!

My son wanted to give up Additional Maths just before his Prelim Exam as he had a few topics that he can’t grasp the concepts and he was already running out of time! He got a D7 (46 marks) in his mid-year! I advised him not to give up but he told me if he was to practice Additional Maths, he would not have time to revise other subjects!

I prayed to Guan Yin Bodhisattva to grant my son the wisdom he needed and not to give up on Additional Maths!  I asked Bodhisattva to eliminate all his learning disabilities & obstacles and all topics and questions tested in his O level would be those that he had revised, his teachers had taught and he still remembered. I even prayed to Guan Yin Bodhisattva to grant him an A1 for his Additional Maths! After praying, I felt that I was very greedy! From a D7 to a A1 ! After a few weeks, he told me that those Additional Maths topics that he used to find difficult, he suddenly found them very easy! Praise and thanks to Guan Yin Bodhisattva for enlightening him and eliminating his Additional Maths learning disabilities!

I must confess that I am not very diligent at times. But I am so thankful and grateful to our Compassionate and Merciful Guan Yin Bodhisattva for not abandoning me and still continue to bless me, protect me and to grant me my wishes!

All along before the results was released, I dared not tell anyone including my husband what I had prayed for.

Firstly, because I personally think that the results we had prayed for is out of reach for a student like my son. Secondly, many factors such as Karma and Merits can influence what we prayed for. I was so afraid that if the results were not what we had prayed for, this might cause them to lose faith in Guan Yin Citta. And I did not want that to happen.

Personally, I am sorry to say that I am not 100% confident too. I am sorry, Guan Yin Bodhisattva! I repent! I should have more faith and confidence that as long as we diligently follow the three “golden practices” of Guan Yin Citta, be compassionate, give thanks and continue to accumulate merits based on our abilities and opportunities available, Guan Yin Bodhisattva will always be there for us and our prayers will be answered!

Once again, my deepest gratitude to the Greatly Merciful and Greatly Compassionate Guan Yin Bodhisattva, to the Dharma Protectors, to our Merciful Master Lu and to all Dharma followers!
