Respected as a Grand Buddhist Master, Ambassador of World Peace, and a “great master for the mind” – the founder of the Guan Yin Citta Dharma Door, Master Jun Hong Lu has been invited by religious groups in Southeast Asia and thousands of Buddhist followers of Guan Yin Citta to Malaysia and Thailand to promote Chinese Chan Buddhism.
This will be the third visit by Master Jun Hong Lu to Southeast Asia since 2010. The grand Dharma functions in Malaysia and Thailand are expected to have over 10,000 visitors from 50 countries and regions around the world. There will also be several dozen venerable masters attending the events. Master Jun Hong Lu will also be received by the Thai Royal Family.
In recent years, Master Jun Hong Lu has held over 50 grand Dharma functions to promote traditional Chinese culture and Chan Buddhism around the world, including cities in Australia, New Zealand, USA, Canada, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, UK, France, Germany, Denmark, and others. Guan Yin Citta has been well received globally. The Malaysian Government has grant permit for the establishment of Guan Yin Citta practice centres across the country to promote Buddhist teachings. Guan Yin Citta has also been registered as a non-profit organisation in Singapore, USA, Germany, and France. Buddhist followers around the world, including Indonesia, Thailand, USA, and Canada have dedicated themselves in promoting Buddhist teachings. Guan Yin Citta has been recognised and respected by elites around the world.
The official Chinese website for Guan Yin Citta was established three years ago and has attracted over 18 million visitors as of today, with a daily increase of 35,000 visitors. Over 5 million Buddhist followers are now practising Guan Yin Citta. Master Jun Hong Lu’s efforts and dedication in helping people through his Buddhist teachings have been recognised by religious organisations, academics, and mainstream societies around the world. In July 2012, Master Jun Hong Lu was invited to the “Unity of Faiths Festival” in London. This was one of the events in celebration of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. Master Jun Hong Lu was honoured with the “World Peace Award (Buddhism)” and the title of “Ambassador for World Peace” of the year. This was in recognition of his contributions to the propagation of traditional Chinese culture and Buddhism, as well as world peace. On 29th September 2012, Master Jun Hong Lu was invited to Harvard University to give a public talk on the topic of “Compassion and Wisdom – Buddhism Changes Life” in the John Knowles Paine Concert Hall. It was well received by the academics, religious communities, and media sector, as well as local Chinese, and the mainstream society. On 1st October 2012, Master Jun Hong Lu was honoured with the “British Community Honours Award” at the House of Lords, United Kingdom. This award is recognised by her majesty the Queen.

Master Jun Hong Lu infuses the concept of multiculturalism into his teachings, which integrates 5,000 years of traditional Chinese culture into daily life. Guan Yin Citta has been highly recognised and respected by people from different countries and cultural backgrounds.
