A CONTENTED MIND IS A PERPETUAL FEAST
In this world, we would have to carry the weight of what we have gained. It is because, for all that we have gained, it is inevitable that we will have to bear the misery of losing it one day. Just like a coin has two sides, there is a positive and negative side to everything in life. Wherever there is a cause, there will be an effect. Everything we do has consequences.
As humans, we should not “pursue suffering”. When we fail to gain what we pursue, suffering will set in. Buddhist practitioners should understand that “a contented mind is a perpetual feast.”
